Aren’t you? Hmmm. The slightly nefarious rumble of the opening bass line may suggest that this is a paradox…maybe. There is a cynical, if slightly defensive suggestion at a quiet suburban existence peppered with dark thoughts; textured synths keep the listener guessing if it will all be ok whilst bleak guitars herald a stark picture of loneliness…and is that manic laughter in the background? Of course everything will be alright, we are English after all.
