Pack your bags, because this trip starts with a journey out of dullsville as intrepid guitar fuzzes into life with an uncompromising instruction not to take oneself too seriously - most of the time - and a hint that maybe you’re the only person that you have to prove yourself to; but enjoy yourself whist you’re at it, life is short. Traditional pop vocals grow up in layered complexity to provide a balanced sophistication as they smugly make fun of the status quo, and complex percussion keeps the track trucking through right up until the last moment, peaking in combination with an impressive escalating guitar riff, as a softly cynical lyrics talk out the last few bars with a hypothetical wink.
